After arriving at Narita airport, go to the hotel not far from the airport. For dinner you can eat at the hotel or go to JUSCO – pay own. |

SARUGAKYO ONSEN HOTEL
|
From Narita go to Tokyo. Go to the Skytree Tower – a broadcasting (main purpose is to relay television & radio broadcast signals), restaurants and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo. It is the tallest tower in the world with a full height of 2,080 feet. After lunch taking the Kanetsu Expressway, a national expressway go to Minakami and to a western-style resort hotel located in the Minakami Highlands and below the Tanigawa-dake. |

SARUGAKYO ONSEN HOTEL
|
Ride the Tanigawa Ropeway up where you can still see the remaining snow on top of the mountain. Mt. Tanigawa is one of 100 famous mountains in Japan and is commonly called the mountain of death as there are many hikers & climbers that pass away. Next see the Fukiwari-no-Taki, what they call Japan¡Çs Niagara Falls before going back to the same hotel. |

TAINAI ROYAL PARK

From Minakami going through Kanetsu Tunnel, Japan¡Çs longest road tunnel go to Tsubame city – famous as a metal manufacturing center, main industries are metal tableware, kitchenware, scissors, etc. Some shopping time & to look around at the items made at the factory & sold in the shop. Then go to the hotel in Tainai which is below the Asahi mountain ranges and is part of the Bandai-Asahi national park. |

MAIKO KOGEN HOTEL

From Tainai go to Yahiko village, go up the Mt. Yahiko located on the Sea of Japan side of the Echigo Plain, and see the nice view of the Japan Sea. Visit the Yahiko jinja–the supreme shrine in the Echigo region (now Niigata pref.) within the sacred forest. Then go to the hotel in Tsunan in the Uonuma region where it is said that Uonuma¡Çs Koshihikari rice is no.1. |

From Tsunan you can see the Shinano river which is Japan¡Çs longest river and go to Ojiya town where they are famous for their Koi (Carps). See a Koi Museum and next go to Tookamachi where you can see the weaving machine that makes the Ojiya Chijimi – a high-quality, lightweight patterned textile famous in the Uonuma region. Then go back to the same hotel |

From Tsunan go to Tonami, tulip is both the special product and the town flower of Tonami city, as well as for Toyama pref. Go to see the millions of beautiful tulips in bloom that you can enjoy all year round. Then go to the hotel in Tonami with a nice open-air hotspring rock bath & a view surrounded with country houses & forested areas. |

TONAMI ROYAL HOTEL

From Tonami go to Kanazawa. Visit Kenrokuen where you can see nice yaezakura & it is one of three most beautiful japanese landscape gardens in Japan. It was the garden of the feudal lord Maeda family who ruled the Kaga clan (the present Ishikawa and Toyama areas). Next visit Myoryuji temple (also called Ninja-dera), it was built by the Maeda lords during the Edo period. This temple defences aimed to guard against intruders or attacks, it has hidden tunnels, secret rooms, traps, and a maze of corridors & staircases. |

BENIYA
|
After checking out of the hotel go to Shirakawa-go, a village famous for their traditional Gassho-zukuri farmhouses. Gassho-zukuri means ¡Èconstructed like hand in prayer,¡É with steep-thatched straw roofs. Because of the very cold, snowy winter it can withstand the large amounts of heavy snow & keeps warm inside. Then passing Takayama go to a lake-side hotel by Lake Suwa. |

YUGAWARA WEL CITY
|
Lake Suwa – in winter the top of the lake freezes but under the surface has a natural hotspring so the lower waters are still warm & circulating. This results in pressure ridges forming in the ice, the locals believe that the sound of the pressure ridges are formed by the gods crossing the lake, traveling between the various buildings of Suwa Taisha. From Lake Suwa passing through Misaka Pass to Lake Kawaguchi and get a great scenic view of Mt. Fuji. Then go to the hotel in Yugawara, a onsen town. |

From Yugawara go to Yokohama. Have lunch at Chinatown then after lunch go to JUSCO for any last minute shopping before going to the Narita airport for your departure flight to Honolulu. |
