Leaving the hotel, go to Yoshinogari Iseki (before BC year 700 remains, during the 1st generation emperor days, you will know the life of the Japanese people in those days). Lunch is Yanagawa unagi. Then go to Kumamoto and to the hotel.

From the hotel go to see the Amano Iwato shrine. Here is the story about Amaterasu, the sun goddess who hid herself in the cave. (Amaterasu is the Emperor Jimmu's great, great, great grandmother). In Takachiho gorge there are many other God stories. Then go back to same hotel.

From Kumamoto go to the Land of Descendants (is the place Ninigi-no-Mikoto by order from Amaterasu was sent down to earth). Three sacred treasures were handed over to Ninigi-no-Mikoto to make a better country order by Amaterasu. (Ninigi-no-Mikoto is Emperor Jimmu's great grandfather. Visit Kirishima Jingu, Ninigi-no-Mikoto’a shrine. Then go to Kirishima and to the hotel.

From Kirishima visit Oojibaru shrine, the birthplace of Emperor Jimmu. Visit the Heiwa-dai Koen in Miyazaki, see the Hakko Ichiu tower which was constructed as part of the celebrations of the 2600th anniversary of the mythical founding of Japan. Hakko Ichiu “Eight corners of the world under one roof" was a slogan from the 1930’s. Next go to Mimitsu, the place where Emperor Jimmu when he was 45 yrs. old sailed out to the Eastern country for celebration. Then go to Nobeoka and to the hotel.

From Nobeoka go to Kokura, catch the shinkansen(bullet train) and go to Osaka. (At first Emperor Jimmu landed at Osaka but the enemy, Nagasunebiko blocked him). Then go to hotel in Osaka.

From Osaka go to see Nachi-no-taki waterfall and Nachi Taisha shrine. (Place where Emperor Jimmu arrived at Kii peninsula and along the road he got lost and a Yata-karasu (crow) helped him. Then go to Shingu and to the hotel.

KASHIHARA

KASHIHARA HOTEL

 

 

From Shingu go to Kumano. (This is where Emperor Jimmu arrived at after coming to Kii peninsula). From Kumano go to Kashihara. Visit the Kashihara shrine, after the last battle in Kashihara, he was to built a capital in year BC 660, he was 52 yrs. old becoming the 1st generation emperor.  Also see Emperor Jimmu's grave.  Then go to hotel in Kashihara.

From Kashihara go to Osaka, catch the shinkansen(bullet train) and go to Yokohama. Then go to hotel.

YOKOHAMA

PRINCE HOTEL

Go from Yokohama to Tokyo by train. See the Emperor's Enthronement Ceremony Parade, 126 generation. (There will be so many people crowded that it may be hard to see, please keep that in mind). Then go back to same hotel in Yokohama.

After leaving the hotel go to Naritasan Omotesando Street. Next go to Aeon Mall before going to the airport for any last minute shopping.  Then go to Narita airport for your departure flight to Honolulu.
