Visit Hakodate Kombu Museum & Shop, Goryokaku, Kosetsu-en aka Miharashi Park (a nice Japanese-style garden), for lunch is “Lucky Pierrot", only found in Hakodate no.1 burger chain. Then see Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse, before going back to same hotel. |

In the morning go to Hakodate Morning Market. Then from Hakodate riding the H5 series Hokkaido shinkansen going through the Seikan tunnel, world’s longest undersea tunnel go to Aomori. Lunch is their famous eki-ben Nisshin Migaki bento, Nisshin (Herring) is like a big sardine marinated & cooked. After arrive at Aomori, visit Wa Rasse Nebuta Museum then go to hotel. |

Sightseeing within Aomori. Visit Tsutanuma pond (swamp) the autumn colored scenery is famous. If there is no wind the pond is like a mirror, the reflection is beautiful. Lake Towada Scenic boat ride, and apple-picking. Then return to same hotel. |

From Aomori, riding the “Resort Shirakami" train go to Akita. Lunch is famous eki-ben (Scallop kamameshi). In Akita, visit Neburi Nagashikan (Akita Traditional Folk Museum). Has display & description about their Kanto festival which they have in August. Then go to hotel in Akita. |

Sightseeing within Akita. In Oga peninsula visit a Namahage Museum, tells about the local mythical demonic creature that is the Namahage. And you can see Mt. Kanpuzan, gently sloping mountain with nice view of Oga peninsula. Then return to same hotel. |

Visit Aizu Bukeyashiki, served as the residence of the region's most important and highest ranked samurai, as well as his family, employees, and servants. See Goshiki-numa (Five colored volcanic lakes, ponds) situated at the foot of Mt. Bandai. Next visit Noguchi Hideyo memorial hall, he was a Japanese bacteriologist born in Inawashiro, Fukushima pref. and his face is on the 1000yen bill. Then return to same hotel. |
