From Hakata station ride a JR Kyushu train “Yufuin no Mori" has a wood design inside, eat a local special bento “Kashiwa meshi" on the train. Then arrive at Yufuin, the city district and take a walk in Yufuin at the Yunotsubo Kaido, the main shopping street. Next with the train go from Yufuin to Beppu. Hotel in Beppu.

Sightseeing with Beppu. Visit Beppu's Jigoku meguri (Boiling Hell), 5 located in Kannawa district and 2 in the more remote Shibaseki district. Umi jigoku, Shiraike jigoku, Oniishibozu jigoku, Oniyama jigoku, Kamado jigoku, Chi-no-ike jigoku, Tatsumaki jigoku. Next visit Takasakiyama, a monkey park with wildlife Japanese monkeys roaming freely. Then return to same hotel.

From Beppu ride a limited Express “Nichirin" a local special bento “Sankai Zanmai" on the train, arrive at Miyazaki. Visit Miyazaki Peace Park (Heiwadai Park), then go to hotel in Miyazaki.

From Miyazaki ride a sightseeing train “Umisachi-Yamasachi" arrive at Obi station. Visit Obi castle ruins  and samurai residence, lunch eat while walking around, visit Udo shrine in Nichinan – a mythical birthplace of Emperor Jimmu's father Yamasachihiko.  Next visit Sun Messe Nichinan, a theme park and home of seven reproductions of Moai statues of Easter island and to mark the friendship with Japan. Then visit Aoshima famous for it's shrine and the Devil's Washboard (Oni no sentakuita).   Return to same hotel in Miyazaki.

KAGOSHIMA

From Miyazaki ride the train “Tokkyu Kirishima" arrive at Kokubu station.Visit a Kurozu (black vinegar) farm & shop in Fukuyama town in Kagoshima. Next drive to Sakurajima, one of Japan's most active volcano and the symbol of Kagoshima. Visit the Kurokami Maibotsu Torii (Buried Shrine Gate), was buried with lava after a major eruption in 1914. Then with the ferry go to Kagoshima on the main land and go to hotel.

From Kagoshima Chuo station ride a sightseeing train “Tamatebako" arrive at Ibusuki Visit Ryugu Shrine, located at Nagasaki-bana on the southernmost point of Satsuma peninsula. The shrine is said to be the birthplace of Urashima Taro, a man who was said to have saved a turtle which then brought him to the undersea palace. Next visit Chiran served as the departure point of the Special Attack force or kamikaze pilots launched in the final months of World War II, see the Chiran Peace Museum.  Then return to same hotel.

From Kagoshima Chuo ride the bullet train N700 to Kumamoto.  After arriving at Kumamoto visit Suizenji Garden, a spacious 17^th century japanese-style garden landscaped around a natural spring pond. Next see Kumamoto castle, after receiving heavy damage after the 2016 earthquake, most of the exterior on the main tower is about completed. Then go to hotel in Kumamoto.

From Kumamoto go to Takachiho gorge, a narrow chasm cut through the rock by the Gokase river with nearly sheer cliffs forming columns, it is a nature preserved beautiful scenery. Next go to Aso Kusasenri-ga-Hama, a beautiful plain near the summit of Mt.Aso. Then return to same hotel.
