After arriving into Kansai airport, go to hotel connected to the airport terminal. There are places to eat in the terminal, to buy and bring to the hotel.

After leaving the hotel go to Takamatsu and visit Zentsuji, no. 75 temple of the 88 temples and also it is the birthplace and spiritual home of Kukai (also known as Kobo Daishi). There are many sacred sites and relics connected to Kobo Daishi, also there are soils placed at this site taken from each of the 88 temples so anyone that visits here feel they can make their own re-creation of this spiritual journey as it is one of top three pilgrimage destinations. Next go to Iya Valley, considered to be one of Japan’s “three hidden regions,” supposedly a hiding place for the fleeing samurai of the defeated Heike clan. Here you can see or walk across the Kazurabashi, a suspension bridge made of mountain vines. Next go to Kochi and see the Onagadori, a very long tailed breed of chicken originated in Kochi. In the morning go to Kochi’s Sunday Market, an open-air market held on one lane of a main street, that has continued for more than 300 years since the Edo period. Visit a Melon farm, see how they grow, you get to eat the fresh cut sweet melon there.  Then go to Katsurahama beach, where there is a statue of Sakamoto Ryoma who took part as an activist in the Meiji Restoration.  And go to see Kochi castle, it was for the Yamauchi lords who ruled over the surrounding region, then known as Tosa during the Edo period. Then go back to same hotel in Kochi.

After check out of the hotel visit Tosa-Washi no Sato (Handmade Japanese Paper Village), hands-on experience making. Next go to see Chinkabashi, meaning sinking bridge because there are no parapets, rails on the edges of the bridge in order not to be washed away by floods. Then go to onsen hotel at Dogo onsen, a one of Japan’s oldest and famous hotspring in the city of Matsuyama .

After leaving Dogo onsen visit Imabari Towel Museum & Shop,  been the largest production of towels in Japan, and world’s first museum dedicated to towels. Then visit Hakata Salt Omishima factory, see how japanese salt is made. Next go to Saijo sake town, you can see some of the world’s most prestigious and oldest sake breweries that colors the streets of Saijo. Then go to hotel in Saijo.

After check out of the hotel go to Okunoshima (also known as Rabbit island), there are lots of cute rabbits but before in 1929 the island was  used to make poison gas. Next visit Korakuen, beautiful landscape garden & one of the three great gardens of Japan. Then go to hotel in Kurashiki, next to the Bikan area, a city with historic canal area. Walking distance so you can walk around in this area.

From Kurashiki go to Seto Ohashi (the Great Seto bridge), world’s longest double deck bridge, accommodating both cars & trains. Enjoy the ocean view of the Seto Inland Sea, there are 6 consecutive bridges that connects 5 islands – providing access between Honshu and Shikoku. Next go to Okayama pref., visit Osafune Japanese Sword Museum, features a variety of Japanese swords on display. There is a shop for those that want to purchase knives, etc. Then go to see some of the Bizenyaki, a type of Japanese pottery traditionally from Bizen province, history of more than 1000 years making it one of the oldest pottery making techniques in Japan. Next visit Ako Oishi Shrine which is within the remains of Ako castle, dedicated to the 47 ronins.

After check out of the hotel go to Himeji castle, a world heritage site and a national treasure. One of original castles but not too long ago they had it renovated. Then go to hotel in Kobe city. Lunch will be Kobe Beef.

After leaving the hotel go to Hokudan Earthquake Memorial/Museum which is in memory of the Great Hanshin-Awaji earthquake which struck the Kobe-Awaji island/Osaka area in 1995.Next go to Naruto to see the Uzu-Shio, they are whirlpools of the Naruto strait that can be seen closer with a boat cruise around the bridge area. Next go to see a Awa Odori stage dance performance at a Kaikan Hall, famous dance of Tokushima.

After check out of hotel visit the Otsuka Museum of Art, world’s first ceramic board art museum with the largest exhibition space with more than 1000 replicas of priceless masterpieces of Western art, of ancient murals to modern paintings. Next go to Reizanji, no. 1 temple of the 88 Shikoku temples known for it’s antique architecture. Then from Takamatsu ride a ferry and go to Shodo Island. On Shodo island visit the Shoyu factory and the Olive Park, site where the first olives were successfully cultivated a century ago.

After leaving the hotel go to Kaiyukan, Osaka's huge aquarium. Then go to Aeon Mall Rinku, not far from Kansai airport for any last minute shopping. Has Daiso(100yen shop), Uniqlo, Muji, supermarket, besides other shops. Then at a reasonable time go to Kansai airport for your departure flight to Honolulu.
