This is a tour made from a customer's idea. Enjoy the autumn leaves in Tokyo, shopping and the amazing winter illumination lights. Where dinner is not included there are many restaurants near the hotel so you can freely select the restaurant and enjoy what you want to eat.

Arrive at Narita airport, then go to hotel not far from the hotel. After check in you can ride the hotel shuttle bus and go to Aeon Mall for shopping and eating.

DOME HOTEL


From the hotel we visit the Tokyo Skytree, it is a television broadcasting tower and landmark of Tokyo. You can enjoy spectacular views out over Tokyo from observation decks. Then we visit Asakusa, also known as Sensoji temple with the big red paper lantern as a landmark, and with street-food stalls and souvenir shops along the Nakamise street within the temple. Lunch is Asakusa's famous Tendon (tempura donburi). After lunch we visit the Asakusa Tori-no-ichi Fair, it is an annual traditional festival held at shrines and temples nationwide on set days (rooster days) in November to wish for good luck and prosperity in business. You can make your wish for good luck while enjoying the atmosphere of Tokyo’s old downtown at this late fall/early winter event. Next we go to Ueno Park and Ameyoko Market, it is the famous place for cherry blossoms and also the famous place for autumn leaves. Enjoy autumn leaves in Ueno Park and shopping in Ameyoko market. Then we go to the hotel.

PALACE HOTEL

From the hotel we drive through the Intersection of Shibuya (Shibuya Scramble Crossing). Then we go to see Meiji Jingu Gaien's ginkgo tree lined avenue. It is one of the most popular Autumn viewing spot in Tokyo. Next we go to see the Tokyo Olympic Stadium (from the outside). Then we visit DAI-TOKYO Wholesale Market established in 1966, this historical market is bathed in a unique atmosphere that harkens back to yesteryear. There are roughly 70 shops lined up. The difference from Tsukiji is that it is not a tourist destination so the price is reasonable. Enjoy shopping and lunch. After lunch we visit the Showa Memorial Park, a national government park. You can ride the park mini-train and go around the park & enjoy the autumn leaves. Then go to hotel. There are Takashimaya, Isetan, MEGA Don Quijote, Bic Camera near the hotel where you can enjoy shopping and dinner.

TOKI NO SUMIKA


Head to west of Tokyo to enjoy natural scenery and autumn leaves. From the hotel we go to Mitake Valley, it is a beautiful autumn foliage sightseeing spot in Tokyo. Then we go to Lake Okutama. Enjoy the walk across the floating bridge on the lake. As people walk the bridge it shakes so it is a little thrilling experience. Lunch is Hoto. It is filled with starchy vegetables, meat, and flat noodles in miso-based dashi broth, this is a hearty hot noodle soup. After lunch we visit Maglev Exhibition Center, it is a rail museum facility which offers informational exhibits on the future world’s fastest bullet train & test track. Learn about the next generation vehicle that is the superconductive maglev train. Then we go to the hotel. In the evening enjoy the Toki no Sumika Illumination event. There are a range of different displays for visitors to enjoy, including a tunnel of light which runs for almost 450 meters, a 20-meter-high illuminated tree, and the Versailles Lights water laser show and others. From the hotel we visit Chichibunomiya Memorial Park, featuring the former villa of Prince Chichibu. Royal family Chichibunomiya and his wife had lived in this park during 1939 ~1949. You can enjoy strolling in the autumn leaves surroundings. Then we visit Toraya Kobo (workshop) of Japanese sweet. Enjoy Japanese sweets and nice garden view. Next we go to see Goryu waterfall, the waterfall looked from the suspension bridge is a wonderful view. Please be careful not to fall from the cliff. Lunch is your choice at restaurant.  After lunch we go to Izu Fruits Park and enjoy Tangerine picking. Next we visit Shuzenji Nature Park Maple Forests, there are about 1000 maple trees and it is famous as a great place for viewing autumn foliage. Then we go to hotel. If you would like to see the illuminations of the autumn leaves after check-in, we will take you to Shuzenji Nijino Sato.

From the hotel we go to Mt. Omuro, we will take a chair lift up the mountain. The top of the mountain offers 360 degrees panoramic views that include Mount Fuji and Oshima Island when visibility is good. Then we go to Atami Plum Garden Momiji Festival. Atami Plum Garden is a nice spot for viewing autumn leaves. There are approximately 380 maple trees in the garden, and the fall foliage there is described as "the latest-changing autumn leaves in Japan" because of Atami's warm climate. The view from the observatory is the best highlight. Next we go to Odawara city which is famous for kamaboko (fish cake). We visit Kamaboko-no Sato, it has been in business about 150 years and you can browse the kamaboko factory. Lunch is Kamaboko Tempura Soba. After lunch we visit Odawara Castle, see the castle tower and the armor & Japanese sword exhibition. Then we go to the hotel.

From the hotel we go to Kamakura. We ride a rickshaw to explore Kamakura, the former samurai town. Then we visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, it is Kamakura's most important shrine. It was founded by Minamoto Yoriyoshi in 1063, and enlarged and moved to its current site in 1180 by Minamoto Yoritomo, the founder and first shogun of the Kamakura government. Then we go to Komachi Street, it is one of the most famous shopping street in Kamakura. There are about 250 shops, see various shops while you stroll the street. Next we go to see the Daibutsu (Great Buddha) designated as Japan's National Treasure, the bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, is the principal image of Kotoku-in, and is commonly known as the Great Buddha of Kamakura (Kamakura Daibutsu in Japanese).  Then we go to Yokosuka city which is famous for Navy. Lunch is Yokosuka Navy Curry, this curry is said to be the roots of Japanese curry. Yokosuka is a city that has grown with the navy, and it is said that curry (Western cuisine) was incorporated from the UK for the purpose of maintaining health of the crew during long voyage. We visit the Battleship Mikasa Museum. The ship served as the flagship in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904. Next we go to Dobuita Shopping Street where the Japanese culture clashes with American style, the Sukajan embroidered jackets is famous. Then go to the hotel.

From the hotel we go to Oi Racecourse Flea Market, one of Tokyo’s biggest flea markets. It can feature up to 600 vendors on a busy day, making it a great place to hunt for bargains. Then we go to Yamashita Park in Yokohama city, we walk the avenue in a golden “carpet of ginkgo leaves”. From Yamashita Park we ride a ferry to go to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Enjoy a short cruise in Yokohama Bay and Christmas Market in Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse. Then we go to the hotel in the Minato Mirai area, near the hotel you can see many Christmas illuminations and many stores.

From the hotel we visit the Snoopy Museum, it features multi-dimensional exhibitions that introduce the legacy of Charles M. Schulz and the whole Peanuts gang, consisting of original and reproduced comic strips, vintage goods and animation. Then we visit Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, it was the first food-themed amusement park. From the start the concept has been to be the one-stop place to enjoy the flavors of this national dish from renowned shops across Japan without stepping on a plane. For lunch please choose your favorite Ramen. After lunch we visit the Cup Noodles Museum, it shows the history of instant ramen noodles using a combination of whimsical exhibits and hands-on workshops. Also let’s try cup noodle ice cream. Then go back to the same hotel.

From the hotel we go to Mizumoto Park, the largest park in the Tokyo area. The highlight of autumnal leaves in Mizumoto Park is there are about 1,800 Metasequoia trees. The largest forest sight in a park is the “Metasequoia Forest”, the whole forest turns brick red color is just amazing. Please enjoy the last of the beautiful autumn leaves on this tour. Then we go to Daiso Giga Funabashi Store, which devotes all the floors to 100 Yen shops and is the largest in Japan. There are sales floors from the 1st basement floor to the 6th floor above ground, but all the floors have a large number of items. Then we go to Narita airport for your departure flight to Honolulu.
