| This is a tour to enjoy September, the beginning of autumn. During this time you can enjoy the sightseeing spots, events (Hokkaido flowers, salmon run, Aizu Festival, rice field art, and Kinchakuda Manjushage Festival). You will love the beauty of early autumn. And for those that like samurai, and if your ancestors are from Fukushima pref. you must see the Aizu Festival. Feel the Aizu soul, Aizu (Fukushima) soul who lives in righteousness without seeking profit. Meals are Hokkaido specialties, crab cuisine, Genghis Khan and other local cuisines. Also enjoy autumn specials, sweet potatoes, grapes, etc. We also offer ship cruise although just for one night. |

From the hotel we go to Tomita Farm in Furano city. The Farm is one of Hokkaido’s largest tourist attraction site that brings in over 1 million people annually from all over Japan and the world, where you can see the lavender fields and other flowers in bloom. Lunch is pizza using Furano cheese. After lunch we go to Biei village, which is said to be the most beautiful village in Japan. We visit Shikisai-no-Oka, a panoramic flower garden and you can ride a tractor bus to get around the flower garden easily. Then we go to see Aoi-Ike (Blue Pond), originally built as a man-made pond and the Blue Pond has become Biei's most popular tourist attraction because of its magical color. Next we go to Shirahige Waterfalls. An underground river from Mt. Tokachi tumbles down, creating a magnificent waterfall. The Biei River below is also known as the Blue River for its shining, cobalt blue hue. Then we go to the hotel. | × |

After leaving the hotel we ride the Asahidake Ropeway. Mt. Asahidake is the highest mountain in Hokkaido, enjoy the earliest autumn leaves in Japan. Next we go to Asahikawa Ramen Village, there are about 8 ramen shops representing Asahikawa. Please choose your favorite ramen for lunch. Then we go to Asahiyama Zoo, it has been specially designed to keep the animal habitats as natural as possible while enabling visitors to view the animals from a number of different vantage points without disturbing their natural behaviors. You can see the penguins, the polar bears, arctic fox, red-crowned crane and many more. Next we go to the hotel in Sapporo. Dinner is at Sapporo Beer Garden Restaurant, the Genghis Khan where you grill lamb meat & vegetables on a metal skillet, a specialty of Hokkaido. Then return to the hotel. | × |

From the hotel we go to SapporoTV Tower in Odori Park. The tower offers superb views over Sapporo from its observation deck. Then we go to Sapporo Clock Tower, built of wood and closely resembling the kind of colonial-style building common to many US small towns. The Clock Tower is a symbol of Sapporo city. Next we visit Nijo Market, it is a public market in central Sapporo that occupies about one city block. Both locals and tourists visit the market to shop for fresh local produce and seafood such as crabs, salmon eggs, sea urchin and various fresh and prepared fish. Lunch is crab cuisine at Kaniya Restaurant. Then we visit Ishiya Chocolate Factory and take a factory tour. The company's flagship product is the Shiroi Koibito cookie. It is one of the most famous souvenirs from Hokkaido. Next we visit Chitose Salmon Aquarium, you can see salmon returning to their hometown to lay their eggs in the river from underwater observation room in September to October. During which as many as 30,000 fish can be captured on a plentiful day. Then we go to Tomakomai port to ride ferry to Sendai Port. Departure at Tomakomai port 7:00 pm, enjoy an overnight cruise. | × |

Arrive at Sendai Port 10:00 am.
Then we go to Matsushima Bay. For hundreds of years, Matsushima Bay has been designated as one of Japan's three most scenic views alongside Miyajima and Amanohashidate. The bay is dotted by over 200 small islands covered with pine trees. We visit Zuiganji temple, the temple is one of the Tohoku Region's most famous and is well known for its beautifully gilded and painted sliding doors (fusuma). Next we go to Matushima Taikanso Hotel. Enjoy nice views and seasonal Japanese Kaiseki lunch. Then we go to hotel. |

From the hotel we go to see the Aizu Festival. It is one of the largest fall events in the Aizu area. The main feature of the festival is the Aizu Samurai parade. Each year some 500 people parade through downtown Aizu-Wakamatsu in an event that magnificently recreates the world of samurai. Visitors can enjoy watching the sword dancing of the Byakkotai warriors and sword fight performances given by professional actors, with the castle keep of Tsurugajo in the background. Next we visit Sazae-do. It is a three-storied, hexagonal pagoda with the look of an optical illusion. The double-helix wooden structure is the only one of its kind in the world and has been designated as an Important Cultural Property. Go inside and walk up the winding slope while observing the curved windows. Thanks to its one-way path you never have to pass anyone on your way up or down. Experience the wonder of the one-way spiral path within this strangely distorted interior space. Then we go back to the same hotel. |

From the hotel we visit Ouchi-juku, it was a flourishing post-town in the 17th century. The town’s traditional buildings are now officially protected and we can travel back in time to the Edo period as you walk along the row of thatched-roof homesteads. Then we go to Tonohetsuri Bridge, it is one of the must-see tourist spots in Fukushima. Hetsuri is an old Aizu dialect meaning “cliff overlooking a river”. It is said that a long time ago, this place was once the sea. After long years of erosion and weathering, this 200 meter long cliff acquired a unique atmosphere, consisting of different kinds of shapes and sizes. This Tonohetsuri has been acknowledged as a Nationally Designated Natural Monument. Next we go to see Rice Field Art in Gyoda city. It was certified as the “World’s Largest Rice Field Art” by the Guinness World Records in 2015. Then we go to the hotel. |

From the hotel we go to Kinchakuda Manjushage Festival, where you can see 5 million Red Spider Lily. The carpet of red spider lily flowers is one of the most famous autumn scenes in all of Japan. Next we go to Matsuri No Yu in Chichibu city to eat Katsu-don, a specialty of Chichibu. And if we are lucky, you can taste drink Ichiro’s Malt Whisky. It may be out of stock depending on the situation. After lunch enjoy grape picking. Next we go to Nagatoro for a river boat ride. Ride a boat handled by a skilled boatman and view the gorgeous valley that is a natural monument while cruising down powerful rapids and gentle currents. Then go back the same hotel. | × |

From the hotel we go to Kaitsuka of roasted sweet potato shop. Let's eat autumn taste roasted sweet potato, Kaitsuka of roasted sweet potato shop is very popular. Next we visit Ushiku Daibutsu completed in 1993 and was one of the tallest statue at 120 meter (390 ft.) tall includes the statue and the base. An elevator takes visitors up to the observation floor. Then go to Narita Aeon Mall for shopping. Then we go to Narita airport for your departure. |
