Don't have to worry about your big luggage train tour. The luggage will be delivered by driving it to the next hotel. Travel by train and sightseeing by charter van or bus. There are about 2100 varieties of eki-ben all over Japan. Let's eat the famous eki-ben among them. For dinner, hotels are near the station so there are choices of restaurants. You can select your choice what you want to eat. Alternatively, you can buy an ekiben for dinner and eat it in your room.

Sightseeing within Sapporo area by car (van or bus). After leaving the the hotel we go to see Hakusen Waterfalls, was named “Hakusen no taki” (white fan fall) because of its graceful shape like a white fan spread open. Then we go to the visit the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium. We take a lift to the top of the mountain for spectacular views of downtown Sapporo. Lunch is crab cuisine at Kaniya Restaurant. After lunch we visit Chitose Salmon Aquarium, we can see salmon returning to their hometown to lay their eggs in the river from underwater observation room in September to October. After that we go back to same hotel.

HAKODATE
LAGENT HOTEL

From Chitose station we ride a limited express Hokuto and go to the Onuma Park station. Lunch is Hokkaido famous eki-ben Temari Sushi. Then we go to Onuma Park, the autumn colors scenery is nice. Next ride a car (van or bus) and sightseeing the Hakodate area. Then we go to Goryokaku, it is a western-style fort completed almost 150 years ago, designated in Japan as a special historic site. After that we go to the hotel, in the evening drive up to Mt.Hakodate and see the night view.

In the morning we go to Hakodate Morning Market. Enjoy shopping and browsing at the market and be sure to check out the live crabs and shellfish in their massive tanks. Then from Hakodate station riding the H5 series Hokkaido shinkansen go to Aomori station. On the way, we go through the Seikan tunnel, world’s longest undersea tunnel. Lunch is Hakodate famous eki-ben Nisshin Migaki bento, Nisshin (Herring) is like a big sardine marinated & cooked. After we arrive at Aomori station, we visit Wa Rasse Nebuta Museum. The museum is about the Nebuta festival which is held annually in early August. It captures the spirit of the festival and gives visitors a taste of it's lively atmosphere, tradition and history. Then we go to the hotel.

Sightseeing within Aomori area by car (van or bus). We go to through the Oirase Gorge where the autumn leaves are beautiful. After lunch we enjoy excursion boat on Lake Towada, beautiful during autumn season. Then we go to Jogakura Bridge, it is Japan’s longest arched bridge. The fall foliage here is a perfect view. Next enjoy apple-picking. Then we return to same hotel.

From Aomori station, we ride one of the most beautiful train rides in Japan, the Resort Shirakami train. Travels between Aomori and Akita, following the scenic coastline of northern Tohoku. Watch the Tsugaru shamisen playing in the train. Lunch is famous eki-ben Hitokuchidarake, used plenty of popular dishes and ingredients from Aomori prefecture. After we arrived at Akita station, we visit a Citizen’s Open Space Market where you'll find Akita food items, misc. goods, souvenirs all in one place. Then we go to the hotel.

Sightseeing within Akita area by car (van or bus). In Oga peninsula we visit a Namahage Museum. Namahage is known throughout the country as a folk event. Why this custom was born and rooted in Oga, many questions still remain. The museum is where you can experience all of the mysteries and the history of such history. Then we go to Mt. Kanpuzan, the panoramic vista from the top of the mountain is truly spectacular, as there is nothing to obstruct the views. After lunch we visit Michi no Eki Ogare, a roadside station. We can see the Akita dogs. Next go to Neburi Nagashikan (Akita Traditional Folk Museum). It has displays & description about their Kanto festival which they have in August. Then we return to same hotel.

From Akita station we ride a limited express Inaho and go to Sakata station. Lunch is Akita famous eki-ben Iitokodori (Chicken) bento. After we arrived at the Sakata station, we visit Sankyo Soko Storehouse which was used to store rice from the late 19th century. Then we go to Kaikoji temple which is the only temple in Japan which enshrines two of Sokushinbutsu (self-mummified monks). Next visit Somaro, a ryotei (luxurious traditional restaurant) from the Edo period and watch a maiko dance performance. After the performance you can take photo together with the maiko. Then we go to the hotel.

From the hotel we go on a Mogami river boat ride, the autumn colors leaves are beautiful. Then we go to Sakata station we ride a limited express Inaho and go to the Niigata station. Lunch is eki-ben (Sorry. Not decided yet). On the way, we will enjoy the scenery of Sasagawa Nagare, a scenic spot on the Sea of ​​Japan, from the train window. After we arrived at Niigata station, we visit the Ponshukan, is a sake “theme park” where you can sample leading local sake brands, purchase sake-related goods. Then we go to the hotel.

Sightseeing within Niigata area by car (van or bus). From the hotel we go to Tsubame-Sanjo, famous as a production town. We visit Tsubame Industrial Materials Museum. We can experience to make Cup tsuchime hammering, using a hammer to add elegant tsuchime dimpling to the surface of a provided copper cup. Then we go to Nishikigoi no Sato in Ojiya city. The city of Ojiya is the birthplace of Nishikigoi carps & is the only place in the world where a wide variety of live Nishikigoi can be seen and on display along with information showing the history of their improvements. After lunch we go to the Niigata Furusato Village, there is Niigata pref.’s history, specialty goods, souvenirs, local foods, etc. to enjoy. After shopping we visit the Snow Country Experience Corner where visitors can experience snow throughout the year. Then we return to same hotel.

From Niigata station we ride the E7 series shinkansen & go to Tokyo station. Tokyo Station is the origin of railways up and down Japan and is positioned as the "central station" established by being the 0 post of many main lines. After arriving at Tokyo station, we visit Tokyo Station Gallery. Since establishment, has become known as an art museum with unique exhibitions and brick wall that embody the history of Tokyo Station. After that, we have free time. We can go to Ramen Street, Okashi Land, Character Street, Daimaru, and more in Tokyo station. If you are not interested in shopping, we recommend taking a walk to the Imperial Palace. It takes about 10 minutes on foot. Then we ride Narita Express train and go to Narita airport for your departure.
