JR HOTEL CLEMENT
From the hotel we go to the Akashi Kaikyo National Park to see many autumn flowers such as cosmos. After lunch we visit the Awajishima Fruit Farm. Enjoy Grape or mandarin orange picking. Then we visit the Tako Senbei no Sato (Rice cracker factory and shop). We can enjoy shopping about 40 kinds of rice crackers. Next go to the Awa Odori Hall to see the Awa Odori, a 400 years old traditional dance. Then we go to the hotel.

HOTEL HIKYO NO YU

From the hotel we head to the remote Higashi-Iya district of Shikoku. Visit the Oku-Iya Niju Kazurabashi. Tucked way in the deepest part of the Iya Valley, the Double Vine Bridges are more than worth the effort of visiting. Next go to a unique riverside town for the unexplored region of the world Nagoro Scarecrow Village. Filled with hundreds of life-sized dolls instead of residents who are the declining population. Then we see the Ochiai Village Observatory where you can see the mountain village. During the old battle where the samurais that lost, it is said they hid & lived there. After lunch we go to see Kazurabashi, a suspension bridge made of mountain vines. Then we go to the hotel.

From the hotel we go to see the Oboke and Koboke gorges, they were made by the rapid current of the Yoshino River crossing the Shikoku mountains over a period of 200 million years. These gorges are 5 miles lonģ and gives a beautiful landscape looking like soaring marble sculpturesNext visit Nishijima Farm, see how they grow the melons then you can eat their fresh, sweet melon. After lunch we go to the Monet’s Garden Marmottan in Kitagawa Village. It is said the garden is a living museum of plants could actually. Made with Monet spirit and in collaboration with the Claude Monet Foundation, it is the only other garden in the world that is allowed to bear his name. Then we go to the hotel. From the hotel go to Kochi's Sunday market, this weekly market has been a part of life in Kochi city for well over 300 years. There are varieties of shops & stalls, about 300 that lines the road. Lunch is your choice at restaurant. Next visit Kochi Castle. The castle is the Makiki Christian Church model. After lunch we go to the Katsurahama, see a statue of the local samurai hero Sakamoto Ryoma with nice beach views. Then we go back the same hotel.

HOTEL LUNA PARK

From the hotel we go to see the Chinkabashi, a submersible bridge and Niyodo river, consistently ranks as the purest river in the country and so is often referred to as “Japan’s most beautiful river.” Then we go to the Nakatsu Gorge. Appreciate the majesty of nature at Nakatsu Gorge in Kochi Prefecture. This gorge, carved by the Niyodo River, with its crystalline emerald waters showcases the contrasts of rock and river. (About 40 min. waking.) After lunch we go to the Tengu Highlands of the Shikoku Karst. Known as one of Japan’s top 3 karsts, the plateau peaks at 1485 meters above sea level with panoramic views stretching to the horizon. Then we go to the hotel.

ROUTE INN


From the hotel we go to Matsuyama Port to ride ferry to Kure Port that flourished as a military port. Enjoy a 2 hours cruise on the Seto Inland Sea. After arrive at Kure Port, we go to the Areikarasukojima Park. Maritime Self-Defense Force submarines and destroyers dock in the harbor, making it the only place in Japan where you can see submarines up close. Then we go to the Hill Overlooking History looks out on the wharfs and shipyards that shaped Kure’s history. You can see the covered shipyard where they built the famous battleship Yamato and the buildings of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) Kure Regional District Headquarters. After lunch we visit the Takehara town, was a prime producer of salt and sake in its heyday. Nowadays the area is famed for its preserved historical townscape and the birthplace of Taketsuru Masataka (“Massan” 2014 television drama on NHK), the father of Japanese whisky. ROUTE INN

Then we take a tour of the Shimanami Kaido which between Hiroshima and Shikoku there are 6 islands and is connected with 7 bridges. We go to Omishima island and visit the Hakata Salt Factory. We can see modern style factory and old style (flowing-down branches type). Then we go to Mt. Kiro Observatory Park, the best view spot of the Shimanami Kaido. Next visit the Imabari Towel Labo, you can learn about the Imabari towel 5-second rule about a precipitation method of placement in water. After lunch we go to see the Saijyo Festival. In this harvest festival with over 300 years of tradition, enormous hand-carried floats called danjiri and mikoshi are presented to local shrines. The danjiri enter the river as the climax of the festival. (4-6 p.m.) Then we go to the hotel.

From the hotel we visit the Takaya Shrine, famous as a Torii (gate) in the sky. Then visit the Marugame Uchiwa Fan Museum. Marugame Uchiwa fans now account for 90% of all fans produced in Japan, and over one billion are made each year. In 1997 the Japanese government officially recognized them as traditional craft products. Let’s experience making Uchiwa. After lunch we visit Ritsurin Garden, one of the most famous beautiful historical gardens in Japan. Then we go to the hotel.

TAKAMATSU
DAIWA ROYNET HOTEL


From the hotel cross over the 
Seto Ohashi bridge that connects Okayama. Then we go to the Washuzan Observatory, a great viewing of the Seto Ohashibridge and it’s surrounding. After lunch at 12:15 Uno port ride the ferry and go to Naoshima island known as Japan's Art Island. Art House Project. In this project, artists take empty houses scattered about residential areas and turn the spaces themselves into works of art, weaving in history and memories of the period when the buildings were lived in and used. Next at 17:00 catch a ferry and go to Takamatsu and return to same hotel.

From the hotel we go to see the Naruto Whirlpools, they are tidal whirlpools in the Naruto strait, a channel between Naruto and Awaji Island. Enjoy the viewing cruise of the Naruto Whirlpools. This day is a day of high tide, so we can see larger whirlpools than usual. Next go to Aeon Mall for lunch and shopping, they have Daiso, Uniqlo, MUJI, etc. Then we go to Kansai Airport for your departure flight to Honolulu.
